SLAVONSKI BROD, Nov 3 (Hina) - Although there have been no new leaks in the Sava River from the oil refinery in Bosanski Brod in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the third degree of pollution alert for the Slavonski Brod, which is on the Croatian
bank of the Sava, is still in force. Drinking water wells at Jelas are not jeopardised and there is no need for panic, the Croatian State Water Directorate said. According to the production director at the Oil Refinery in Bosanski Bord, Milenko Opacic, a valve at the waste water plant had been changed yesterday. The situation is under control now and there have been no new leaks, he said.
