SISAK, Nov 2 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Mine Action Centre (HCR) and the Union of Mine Removal Experts on Thursday reached an agreement on the definition of the status of mine removal experts in the new law on de-mining.
HCR supports the union's claim that mine removal experts participating in humanitarian de-mining activities be granted an accelerated retirement plan as well as their request that mine removal experts who cannot perform their tasks anymore due to health problems be provided for. The union's president Antun Vincetic said after today's meeting there were no more disputable issues between the HCR and the union.(hina) rml
