INVESTIGATION AGAINST FOUR IN AHMICI CASE EXTENDED

ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Investigative judge at the Zagreb County court, Zdenko Konjic, extended an investigation against four suspects of crimes in central Bosnian village of Ahmici. The investigation now includes criminal act of falsifying identification. All four are suspected of having used false identification in documents they had subsequently used. Ante Sliskovic, Tomislav Vlajic, Vlado Cosic and Pasko Ljubicic hid in the Zadar area under false identities. Sliskovic and Vlajic were arrested at the beginning of September, and Cosic and Ljubicic are still at large, with a warrant issued. They are being investigated for suspicion of having committed crimes in the village of Ahmici where 116 civilians had been killed on April 16, 1993. The international war crimes tribunal sentenced Tihomir Blaskic, the then commander of the Croatian Defence Council for Central Bosnia, to 45 years in prison, but direct perpet
