Mesic said that during Monday night's talks on the amendments, he and president of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Drazen Budisa, had mostly agreed on important issues. Mesic held talks Tuesday afternoon with representatives of the association of widows and invalids of the Homeland Defence War about their problems. The President expressed wish that their problems be solved as soon as possible. We are concerned with the fact that there are insufficient jobs, production plants and employment in this region. Asked by reporters covering his visit to Croatia's central town of
Gospic, Mesic said that during Monday night's talks on the
amendments, he and president of the Croatian Social Liberal Party
(HSLS), Drazen Budisa, had mostly agreed on important issues.
