ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - Croatian Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic met his Hungarian counterpart Peter Harach and discussed possibilities for the signing of a bilateral agreement on social insurance between Croatia
and Hungary, the Croatia Foreign Ministry said in a statement Tuesday. The two minister met as a part of a two-day international symposium on social law and social democracy, being held in Budapest on October 30 and 31 in the organisation of the Austrian-French centre for approaching Europe. An agreement that is in force at the moment is the one signed by the former Yugoslavia and Hungary and the new text of the agreement has been harmonised and is ready for signing. Minister Vidovic called on the Hungarian Minister to sign the agreement and to visit Zagreb by late this year.
