ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - The president of the Liberal Party (LS), Vlado Gotovac, was declared the party's honorary president on Saturday. Gotovac, elected honorary president at the second party congress, was handed a "Charter of
Freedom" for his contribution to the idea of liberalism, his role as the founder of the Liberal Party and his work to the benefit of Croatia. Gotovac, who left his post as the party president in June this year due to health problems, told the congress he intended to continue working in the party as much as his health would allow him. The congress will today elect a new party president among three candidates - Bozo Kovacevic, Zlatko Kramaric and Mladen Vilfan.(hina) rml.
