ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Hina) - The first round of negotiations between Croatia and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) on a free trade agreement is to be held in Zagreb on October 26 and 27, the Croatian Economy Ministry said in a
statement Wednesday. The text of the agreement should be harmonised during the plenary session, while the trade regime of industrial and agricultural products, as well as the tariff regime should be discussed during working meetings. After the deceleration on cooperation between Croatia and EFTA countries was signed in Zurich on June 19, institutional relations had been taken to a higher level by the liberalisation of mutual trade. According to the Croatian Economy Ministry, this is a significant element in the overall strategic orientation and policy of Croatia's accelerated joining European integration. EFTA is an international organisation comprising four states: the
