ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Representatives of the Montenegrin Supreme Court visited the Croatian Supreme Court in Zagreb on Friday, the Supreme Court stated. The delegation, led by president Ratko Vukotic, visited Croatia at their own
request in order to, by building an independent judicial system appropriate for democratic countries, become acquainted with the operation of the Croatian judicial system. During the talks with Croatian Supreme Court president Milan Ramuscak, the Montenegrin delegation was informed, among else, about the internal organisation and powers of all courts, appointment and replacement of judges and the financial position of judges and courts. The two sides stressed the importance of cooperation, adding it would start with the exchange of expert publications and judicial experience.
