ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday welcomed today's Israeli-Palestinian agreement to halt violence and calm the situation, as well as the two sides' willingness to hold consultations to renew peacekeeping
efforts. "We strongly support the full implementation of the agreement," the ministry said in a statement. "The reaching of the agreement reinforces our belief that constructive dialogue is certainly the strongest mainstay of the prospect for the realisation of the interests of the State of Israel and the Palestinian Self-Government until a final peace agreement is reached." The Croatian Foreign Ministry "gives full credit to the Israeli and Palestinian leaderships and the efforts and activities of the Egyptian and U.S. presidents, the Jordanian King and the UN Secretary-General, and all who indirectly worked for the benefit of peace and security."(hina) ha
