VINKOVCI, Oct 17 (Hina) - The attempt of 33 Iranian citizens to enter Croatia from Bosnia-Herzegovina was prevented Tuesday by Vukovar-Srijem County police. Police noted the transients near the border. As none of the persons had on
them any identification documents, all were taken to a police station in Drenica. The group contained 20 men, seven women and six children, police reported. After their identities are established, the Iranians will be brought before a magistrates' court in Zupanja, and banned from Croatia, i.e. returned to Bosnia-Herzegovina. According to Vukovar-Srijem County police, 1,301 foreign citizens were caught in illegal entry into the country in the first eight months of this year, while in the same period last year 400 such illegal aliens were caught.(hina) lml jn
