PLOCE PORT PLOCE, Oct 14 (Hina) - Following a one-year break, the US ship 'Leader' from Houston carrying 16,600 tonnes of wheat for Bosnia-Herzegovina sailed into the southern Croatian port of Ploce on Saturday. The latest
humanitarian shipment is worth about six million dollars and its delivery was organised by the Ploce-based international shipping agency Adriatic-agent from the United States. The shipment is intended for the Sarajevo-based charity association 'Partnership for Development' and the country's milling industry. According to data from Adriatic-agent, more then 600,000 tonnes of food, mostly from America and Europe, have arrived in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina via the Ploce port since the opening of the 'World Programme Office' in Ploce in 1993.(hina) rml
