ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - The Croatian-Austrian Society (HAD) on Friday bestowed its award to Erhard Busek, a former Austrian Vice Chancellor and the Austrian Government's incumbent special envoy in charge of the European Union
enlargement. He received it thanks to his ideas and contribution to the culture of peace and cooperation. Busek is the first winner of the prize which the society has decided to give to persons who have made great efforts in the promotion of the friendship between Croatia and Austria in the fields of culture, science, education and economy. The award is a bronze sculpture made by a famous Croatian artist, Dimitrije Popovic.(hina) jn ms
