ZAGREB ZAGREB, Oct 10 (Hina) - A conference entitled "Britain and Croatia, Working for a New Europe" will take place in Zagreb on 12-14 October, the International Relations Institute's head, Mladen Stanicic, announced on Tuesday. The
event, being organised by the British Council in the Croatian European Integration Ministry, will focus on "dramatic events" which Croatia has experienced since it won independence and on Britain's experiences from the international stage since the fall of the Berlin Wall as well as on the two countries' joint interest in Europe. The conference will officially be opened on Thursday by British state secretary for Scotland, Brian Wilson, and Croatian Ministers of European Integration and Foreign Affairs, Ivan Jakovcic and Tonino Picula respectively.
