Samardzija was speaking about globalisation and economic aspects of EU's expansion at the working part of the second international seminar on European integration processes, which is held at Dubrovnik's Interuniversity Centre. Seidel', one of the organisers of the seminar, said that
considering the latest events in Serbia it was obvious that Croatia
had become the main democratic factor in the region.
The seminar has gathered about 30 representatives from Albania,
Estonia, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Ukraine and Croatia.
