Present at the meeting were also the families of residents recently arrested. Milinovic said the name of the killed of Milan Levar should be issued in the public so the town of Gospic could restore its reputation. Milan Levar, a witness of alleged war crimes against Serb civilians in Gospic during the Homeland Defence War for the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague, was killed in front of his home in Gospic in August. "I heard the messages of the centre and I will pass them on to my colleagues," Adlesic said, adding dialogue with the people and accurate information were necessary. I wanted to show Gospic was a town in which ugly things had happened, a town which will not forget this, but must return to its normal life. Gospic is a town into which anybody can come, it is not a town of incidents, despite of what occurred in it, she asserted. The town and the Lika-Senj County should be helped in their economic development, she said, stressing it was good to notice that everyone in Gospic wanted for the killer of Milan Levar to be discovered.
