ZAGREB, Oct 6 (Hina) - Croatian Transport, Maritime Affairs an Communications Minister Alojz Tusek on Friday passed a decision restricting the issuing of licences for international road traffic. Licences will be issued in cases of
exchanging old vehicles for new ones. The decision comes into effect on October 10, and will be valid until the adoption of the Road Transport Development Programme in line with the Road Traffic Law, the Ministry said in a statement Friday. The number of owners of licences for international traffic highly exceeds export and import needs of Croatia's economy. The restricting further issuing of licences will avoid flooding the market and unfair competition among road carriers.
