ZAGREB, Oct 3 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) will not endorse constitutional changes, and it will elaborate this at a session of the Croatian national parliament's House of Representatives, HDZ president Ivo Sanader told
a press conference on Tuesday. Sanader stressed the HDZ would not endorse amendments to the penal code either, and added that according to the amendments, the drug possession would no longer be treated as a crime by only as a violation. When asked whether a division among HDZ representatives was possible during the voting, Sanader said it was possible. He, however, believes that when it comes to constitutional amendments the Prime Minister cannot stay so calm as he appears to be right now.
