ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - Croatian Post Workers' Union on Wednesday announced a strike for September 20 to warn about the lack of protection of postmen and post office clerks. The Union recalled that workers delivering the post and
workers in post offices were victims of frequent armed robberies, hold-ups and other forms of attacks. The Union is requesting physical protection for its workers through the use of electronics, alarms and bullet-proof glass, as well as preventing entrance of non-personnel into back offices in post offices. The strike will be held by post office workers all over Croatia, the Union stressed.(hina) lml
