ZAGREB, Aug 30 (Hina) - President of the Croatian National Sabor Zlatko Tomcic on Wednesday condemned the murder of Milan Levar and said it was an "insane act" which would cause great damage to Croatia in its international relations.
"It is really an insane, most probably organised act, which aims at eliminating all those who dared to speak before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia", Tomcic said in Zagreb's airport Pleso ahead of his departure for New York where he is to participate in a conference of presidents of parliaments of 135 countries. "This is something which will cause great damage to Croatia in international relations for a simple reason, namely the international community sometimes can't tell the difference between the official and unofficial policy", said Tomcic and expressed his condolences to the Levar family.
