DUBROVNIK UNTIL AUGUST 24 DUBROVNIK, Aug 19 (Hina) - United States' warship USS Saipan sailed into the southern-most Croatian port of Dubrovnik on Saturday, where it will be tied up until August 24. USS Saipan is the lead ship in the
Amphibious Readiness Group and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, which also serves as MEU's primary air base. ARG is the amphibious/landing component of U.S. forces deployed in Europe. The ship's commander and associates were received today by Dubrovnik-Neretva County Deputy Prefect Rikard Rosseti and Dubrovnik Mayor Vido Bogdanovic.
