SPLIT SHIPYARD'S POSITIVE BUSINESS SPLIT, Aug 14 (Hina) - After several years of agony, Split-based shipyard Brodosplit enjoyed positive business in this year's first six months, and a positive production trend is expected to run
through the remainder of the year, Brodosplit's leaders told Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic on Monday. Director Vinko Rosic and his deputy Milan Senjanovic told the minister Brodosplit had delivered three ships to clients in this year's first six months, as many as last year, and that another tanker should be delivered by year's end. The ships are worth about US$108.5 million, while three delivered last year cost US$88 million. Rosic said that according to a new business strategy, six ships worth US$132.5 million could be delivered next year.
