AGOTIC: "GLOBUS" ARTICLE WRITTEN IN UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER

ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - On the occasion of Croatia's weekly Globus' reporting on an investigation conducted against General Petar Stipetic by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Croatian President's advisor for military issues Imra Agotic told Croatian Television's prime time news "Dnevnik" Wednesday "there were never doubts about absolutely professional and fair realisation of all tasks" given to Stipetic as a General of the Croatian Army. "I am absolutely sure that an assumption on his dishonourable activities has no foundations", Agotic said and added he had known General Stipetic since the beginning of the Homeland War and even before that". The latest issue of 'Globus' weekly reports that the Hague tribunal is conducting an investigation against general Stipetic, because during the Croatian army and police operation 'Storm' he commanded military actions in the former U.N. Sector North, which included the areas of Banovina and Kordun. The weekly presents data from the July report of the Croatian Helsinki Committee (HHO) saying 267 Serb civilians were killed or went missing in those areas during or immediately after Operation 'Storm'.
