PODGORICA, July 20 (Hina) - The foreign ministers of Croatia and Montenegro, Tonino Picula and Branko Lukovac, told reporters in Podgorica, Montenegro, on Thursday the two countries' fundamental interest was to strengthen the process
of democratisation and political stability. The two ministers said Croatia and Montenegro must no longer represent an area marked by conflicts, but one marked by cooperation. Picula, the first Croatian official to visit Montenegro following the break-up of the former Yugoslav federation, today also held talks with Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic and Prime Minister Filip Vujanovic. Picula announced Croatia's and Montenegro's competent bodies would sign in September protocols on free trade, visa regime liberalisation, cooperation in road transport, and border crossings.(hina) ha
