BRUSSELS, July 18 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday morning held talks with the Belgian parliament's speaker Herman De Cro. Mesic, who on Monday commenced his two-day visit to Brussels with meetings with NATO and
EU representatives, is to hold talks with senior Belgian officials on Tuesday. After the one-hour-long talks with De Cro, Mesic is to meet Brussels Mayor Xavier De Donea and have an audience with Belgium's King Albert II. Croatian President's visit to Belgium should help promote the bilateral relations between these two European countries. The ties between Zagreb and Brussels are described as friendly, but rather moderate economic co-operartion between Croatia and Belgium should be improved.
