ZAGREB, July 17 (Hina) - Croatia's tourist destinations in six tourist boards and the City of Zagreb recorded 4.76 million overnight stays in June, which is 80 percent more than in June last year, the Croatian Tourist Board said on
Monday. Foreign tourists accounted for 4.32 million and domestic tourists for 440,058 overnight stays. Istra County recorded the highest number of overnight stays, namely 2.11 million, which is 67 percent more than last June. Primorje-Gorski Kotar County follows with 1.14 million, or 84 percent more than in June 1999. Split-Dalmatia County recorded 661,344 overnight stays, 104 percent more than in June 1999, followed by Dubrovnik-Neretva County with 328,097, or 196 percent more, Zadar County with 291,528, an increase of 52 percent, and Sibenik-Knin County with 187,223 overnight stays, or 110 percent more than June last year. percent more, and Italians with 297,750, 91 percent more than June
1999.
