ZAGREB ZAGREB, June 29 (Hina) - A mixed Croatian-Czech task force for tourism on Thursday held its first session in Zagreb. According to a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry, today's session showed that problems which might
arise on the eve of the upcoming tourist season could be resolved to mutual satisfaction. Croatia and the Czech Republic have had long-standing tourist relations, but on ocasion these were encumbered by certain disagreements. The Czech side pointed to cancellations some Croatian hotel companies were making ahead of the summer season for bookings by Czech agencies. Representatives of the Croatian Tourism Ministry asserted they would do everything in their competence to prevent such problems from reoccuring. According to a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry,
today's session showed that problems which might arise on the eve of
the upcoming tourist season could be resolved to mutual
satisfaction. Croatia and the Czech Republic have had long-

With 415,000 arrivals, Czech tourists rank fourth among foreign
arrivals to Croatia, and third among foreign overnight stays with
2,845,000 room/nights. They also account for 13.3 percent of the
entire number of foreign overnight stays in 1999.
