He would not reveal the identity of Hina's acting editor-in-chief since consultations on the matter were underway. Racan said Hina's acting editor-in-chief and director would be appointed for a period of a couple of months, after which a new law, adjusting Hina to new conditions, would be adopted. According to the Law on Hina of 1990, the agency's editor-in-chief

The Prime Minister said the government would in the next two weeks
hold an extraordinary session on the reform of the Croatian Railway
and it planned to present its reform of the shipbuilding industry at
the parliament's first autumn session.
Racan gave this statement after an official lunch at the parliament
restaurant with Parliament Speaker Zlatko Tomcic, who celebrates
his 55th birthday today.
