ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Crafts, Small and Medium Businesses, Zeljko Pecek, announced on Wednesday that the government was trying to extend the collection period for export businesses from the current 90 to 180
days in order to help exporters. The measure is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Croatia's export offer. Also being prepared are measures from an exporter programme called 'Gazelle'. The programme envisages favourable and urgent loans as well as other incentives for production activities oriented toward export, Pecek told business people at a meeting held in Zagreb. The meeting focused on problems which are hampering the activities of Croatian business people, especially export activities.
