ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Croatia on Wednesday signed an agreement with NATO on security and rules of conduct, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The agreement was signed in Brussels by Croatia's ambassador and mission chief to
the European Union Janko Vranyczany-Dobrinovic, who had been authorised by Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan. The Foreign Ministry statement says the signing of the agreement was the second important step in the further operationalisation of Croatia's membership in the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, namely its participation in NATO's Partnership for Peace programme. The first step had been a Partnership for Peace framework document which Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula signed in Florence, Italy, on May 25.(hina) ha jn
