ZAGREB, June 13 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Friday and Saturday will officially visit Albania, at the invitation of Albanian President Rexhep Meidani, the Croatian President's Office said in a statement Tuesday.
Croatian President Mesic, accompanied by a delegation, will hold talks with Albanian senior officials on possibilities of the improvement of bilateral cooperation, particularly economic, as well as the situation in the region, the statement read. The visit of President Mesic to Albania is the continuation of efforts the Croatian authorities and President Mesic himself have been investing to stabilise the situation in the region, enable permanent peace and establish good neighbourly relations in the region, the statement read.(hina) it mm
