ZAGREB, June 2 (Hina) - The Croatian Foreign Ministry believes that the five million dollars of additional assistance the US State Department has decided to grant Croatia for the return of refugees is a significant contribution by the
United States to a common interest - the progress of democratic reforms in Croatia and the stabilisation of the political situation in south-east Europe. In a statement issued on Friday, the Foreign Ministry said the latest move by the State Department was yet another confirmation of the US policy toward Croatia as a key partner in the region and its belief that Croatia was determined to implement its policy which provided for the right of all to return to their homes, as well as the protection of inviolability of private property. Croatia actively participates in all processes within the
Stability Pact for South-East Europe and considers every success
