PULA, May 31 (Hina) - Croatia's northern Adriatic shipyard of Uljanik on Wednesday delivered a ship for the transport of cars to German customer Krupp Seeschiffahrt. A ceremony marking the delivery in the Pula-based shipyard was held
last Saturday, with numerous guests from Germany, Japan, and Croatia attending. The 176m-long, 31m-wide, and 28m-high Dresden will depart for its first journey this evening. As has been pointed out today, Dresden has been delivered a month earlier, and is the first in a series of three ships Uljanik is building for the German company. The ship has a dead-weight of 13,000 tonnes and can sail at 20.1 knots. The Dresden delivery is the third this year, with the first two having taken place on January 5 and 10.(hina) ha
