BRUSSELS, May 24 (Hina) - Due to "several technical amendments", the European Commission on Wednesday postponed the passing of a final decision on the feasibility study for the beginning of negotiations with Croatia on the agreement
on stabilisation and association. According to commission's spokesman for foreign relations Gunner Wiegand, the reason why the passing of the decision was postponed are several technical amendments, which were motioned in the process of consultations on the final text of the study within the Commission, and which do not question the overall positive conclusion on the opening of negotiations with Croatia. The text will be completed in several days Wiegand said, adding the study would be ready on time to be presented to the European Union Council of Ministers at its regular session in Luxembourg on June 13.(hina) it mm
