VUKOVAR, May 21 (Hina) - The Serb People's Party (SNS) has not given up its idea on the establishment of the Glina and Knin districts. The most important challenge for the Serb minority is for Croatian Serbs to be given back the
status of national community and the 2001 census will be of crucial importance in that regard, SNS president Milan Djukic told the founding assembly of the party's county branch in Vukovar on Sunday. Speaking about the status of the Serb minority in Croatia, Djukic said the change of the authority had heralded more justice for Serbs, which could be seen in proposed changes to the Law on Reconstruction and Law on Areas of Special State Concern. "After the parliamentary election, Croatia has new authorities which speak differently than the old ones, whose sole aim was to expel Serbs from Croatia," Djukic said, adding his party would not give up the idea on the Glina and Knin districts
