ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - The Croatian Government announced at a session on Friday that Croatian citizens could very soon, probably as early as late May, be travelling to Hungary without passports, i.e. with their IDs. The two countries
are expected to sign an agreement on the cancellation of the visa regime on May 22 or 23 (the existing agreement dates back to the former Yugoslav federation). The Government also confirmed a programme of activities between the ministries in carrying out the conclusions of a consultative working group between Croatia and the European Union for May and June. The programme includes a set of tasks regarding economy, agriculture, environmental protection, telecommunications, as well as an obligation to create the opportunity for a third mobile network to enter the Croatian market. cancellation of the visa regime on May 22 or 23 (the existing

The programme includes a set of tasks regarding economy,

The group is preparing the ground for the start of talks between
Croatia and the EU on signing an agreement on stabilisation and
association.
The Government today also supported Croatian-Italian projects
which would be financed through the Italian Ministry of Foreign
Trade.
