Later in the day Gligoric told reporters in Banja Luka that Radisic abode by the support to his candidacy and that this proposal would be submitted to the House of Representatives which is to discuss on Wednesday a crisis caused by prolongation of appointment of the Ministerial Council's new composition. Previously Gligoric's candidacy was contested by Bosnian Serb entity's Premier Milorad Dodik and a political party "Serb People's Alliance" led Biljana Plavsic. The Office of the High Representative has indirectly brought Gligoric's candidacy into question. The Office's spokesman James Ferguson on Tuesday reiterated that the chairman of the Council of Ministers must enjoy support of both entities. In case that Bosnian Parliament does not endorse Gligoric's appointment, Mladen Ivanic, the leader of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) which scored excellent results at the recent local election in Bosnian Serb municipalities, is likely to be a new candidate for the Council's chairman.
