ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic and the new Chinese Ambassador to Croatia, Li Guobang, on Wednesday spoke about the possibilities of promoting economic cooperation. Li Guobang informed Fizulic about
the strategic programme of infrastructural development of West China and extended an invitation to Croatian business people to participate in the projects. In order to get better insight into the market, a Chinese parliamentary delegation will visit Croatia in May and June, and Chinese reporters will arrive in June to inform business people in China about the economic situation in Croatia. The Chinese Ambassador suggested that a session of the joint Croatian-Chinese Economic Cooperation Committee hold a session in the second half of the year. The Chinese delegation would also consist representatives of Chinese companies interested in the Croatian market.

Fizulic said the new Law on Customs Tariff and Croatia's imminent
accession into the World Trade Organisation would allow Chinese
consumer goods to be even more competitive on the Croatian market,
