ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic on Friday received Portugal's incoming Ambassador Ana Barata, the Economy Ministry reported. Minister Fizulic and the new Portuguese Ambassador discussed the economic
cooperation and promotion of the bilateral ties. They agreed that the two countries had interest in cooperating in tourism, the building of infrastructure, food-processing, textile and timber and wood industries. Ambassador Barata voiced interest in exchange of experiences in the cultural heritage. She added that Croatia, just like her country, has marvellous old castles that can be adjusted into small hotels. Speaking of this experience in Portugal she added that such move helped preserve the cultural heritage and brought money in tourism.
