We warmly welcome the brave steps the Croatian Government is undertaking in order for Croatia to achieve contemporary European standards. Europe's response to this must be quick and generous, Cook said. He added that since his visit to Zagreb in March, Croatia made further progress in fulfilling its obligations regarding the return of refugees, cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and the implementation of the Dayton Agreement.
