ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - A Croatian expert will be a new legal representative of the Republic of Croatia before the International War Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), said Foreign Minister Tonino Picula in Zagreb on
Friday. Picula told a news conference that consultations on a new representative of Zagreb before the International Court of Justice and the ICTY were under way. He declined to cite the name of the expert with whom they were negotiating as he/she had not yet accepted to assume that role. This is a Croatian expert, Picula told reporters. In case the person we are negotiating with and in whose professionalism, skilfulness and experience Justice Minister Stjepan Ivanisevic and I believe, accepts to represent us, this will enhance our credibility before the Tribunal and is likely to have positive impact in Croatia regarding the country's relations with the ICTY, Picula
