ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - The U.S. Navy's Aircraft carrier, USS Eisenhower, will visit the southern Croatian town of Dubrovnik from May 1-5, this year. "As part of the visit of the first aircraft carrier to Croatia since 1989,
Ambassador William Dale Montgomery and Rear Admiral John B. Foley III will host a visit to the ship on Sunday April 30 while it is underway in the Adriatic by President Stipe Mesic, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, along with other senior officials of the Government of Croatia," read a statement released by the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb on Friday. "The USS Eisenhower, with a crew of approximately 5,000 officers, airmen and sailors and an air wing comprising 65 airplanes, will enter Dubrovnik on Monday, May 1, and anchor off the coast near the southern tip of the Island of Lokrum.
