ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula will visit Norway, Sweden and Lithuania on May 2-6 to promote Croatia's relations with the three north European countries, which, Picula said in Zagreb on Friday, have
not been the best possible ones. "This will be an exceptional opportunity to consolidate and promote relations with these north European countries," Picula told a news conference. The north European region has traditionally been sending strong requests for the protection of human and minority rights and at the moment this is one of the most important criteria by which the international community is judging the new Croatian authority, Picula said. Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec will visit Finland and Latvia on May 17-19.(hina) mm rml
