HR-CLARK-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3609 HINA ZAGREB, APRIL 25 MESIC PRESENTS GENERAL CLARK WITH HIGH CROATIAN DECORATIONZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Tuesday presented NATO's chief commander for Europe, General Wesley Clark, with a high Croatian decoration. General Clark, who is leaving his post on May 3, was presented with the Prince Trpimir Order decoration, with Collar and Morning Star. We had very good talks on Croatia, its future and the future of the whole region, Clark told reporters, adding he had high hopes and expectations for Croatia's future and achievements. According to President Mesic's adviser on foreign affairs Stanko Nick, the talks also addressed Croatia's cooperation with NATO. President Mesic thanked General Clark for his contribution to the re-establishment of peace in the region.
