ZAGREB, April 20 (Hina) - About 100 workers of the "Nama" chain of stores, on Thursday staged a rally in front of the Government's building in Zagreb, requesting of the Government to ensure money for the rehabilitation of their
company. Employees, led by Mario Ivekovic, a leader of the HUS (Croatian Association of Unions), claimed they had an elaborated programme for the recovery of "Nama", but that Government did want to accept it for reasons unknown to the protesters. According to unconfirmed information, a Deputy Prime Minister, Slavko Linic, has received a delegation of protesters. The Government maintains that there are no justified reasons for it to earmark 29 million kuna ($3.6 million) for the rehabilitation of this chain of stores.
