RIJEKA, April 12 (Hina) - The ship 'Lika', the property of the once leading Croatian and one of the world's leading shipping companies "Croatia Line", which is facing bankruptcy, was sold on Wednesday at an auction at the Italian port
of Ravenna for about DM2.8 million to an unknown buyer. The ship was stopped in Ravenna at the request of Croatia Line's biggest creditor - Germany's Bayerische Landesbank. The initial price of the ship was DM2.3 million. Croatia Line now has a fleet of only seven ships, which are all laid up at the port of Rijeka or in Croatian shipyards and are under a sailing ban.(hina) rml
