MOSTAR MOSTAR, April 6 (Hina) - United States deputy special envoy for the implementation of the Dayton Agreement Robert Frowick and coordinator for the implementation of the Dayton Agreement David Foly on Wednesday visited the
southern Bosnia-Herzegovina town of Mostar to discuss the situation in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton with local Croatian and Bosniak officials. After the talks Frowick said this was a crucial period of the peace process in Herzegovina. He added that the main goal of the international community was the return of property, and the return of refugees and displaced persons to their homes. Frowick called upon local politicians to be help the return. According to him, the United States will cooperate with everyone who will serve the peace process. Frowick welcomed the attitude of new authorities in Croatia, adding
that representatives of the new authorities opened a path towards
peace, prosperity and Croatia's joining European institutions.
He called upon politicians in Bosnia-Herzegovina to follow the
process in Croatia. Those who fail to do so, choose the path of
resistance which will result in the continuation of difficult
circumstances, the United States diplomat concluded.
