BELGRADE, April 3 (Hina) - An association helping refugees on Yugoslav territory has called on refugees to sign a petition to return to pre-war homes in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. A total of 2,150 families with 8,260 members have
signed the petition since March 23, the association said in a statement on Monday. Signatures will be collected until April 12. The petition will then be forwarded to authorities in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, the United Nations Security Council and Secretary-General, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, humanitarian organisations in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Yugoslavia's institutions dealing with refugees. The petition urges refugee returns according to the principle "everybody to their own, nobody to somebody else's", the restitution of tenancy rights, and the elimination of return obstacles.(hina) ha
