ZAGREB, March 29 (Hina) - The European Commission Delegation in Croatia on Wednesday issued a statement saying that the repair of six fields of the water treatment plant in Vukovar has been completed. "The repair of 6 fields of the
water treatment plant in the Town of Vukovar, financed by the European Union and implemented by the Office of the Arbeiter Samariter Bund on behalf of the European Commission, is another integral step in the European Union Reconstruction Programme for Return, which is aimed at assisting in accelerating the multiple-way return and reintegration, facilitating the reconciliation process and regional economic revitalisation," the statement read. The EU has so far donated more than four million Euros for the repair of the water and power supply systems in the Danube Region, the statement read.(hina) mm rml
