ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stipe Mesic is not travelling to Turkey to attend the marking of the 700th anniversary of the Ottoman heritage because celebrations have been postponed, a presidential adviser told Hina on
Monday. "The Turkish side notified me today the celebration has been postponed due to problems in organisation. President Mesic will not travel to Istanbul on April 17 and 18 as planned," Mesic's adviser on foreign affairs Stanko Nick said. He was notified about the delay by Turkey's Ambassador to Croatia Alpar Selahattin. Nick said preparations for President Mesic's official visit to Turkey were proceeding in order. presidential adviser told Hina on Monday.

postponed due to problems in organisation. President Mesic will not

Nick said preparations for President Mesic's official visit to
Turkey were proceeding in order. The president could visit Turkey
later this year.
