ZAGREB ZAGREB, March 7 (Hina) - Within the cooperation between Croatia and NATO member-countries, 16 students of the U.S. Air Force's war school on Tuesday toured the Pleso air base (outside Zagreb) of the Croatian Air Force (HRZ).
During their visit, U.S. guests were acquainted with the organisation and activities of this base. In addition, a tactical technical exercise is planned to be carried out with Croatian aircraft of the MIG 21 type. This U.S war school's delegations often visit foreign countries in order to learn about their military possibilities and organisations, and this is the case with our tour in Croatia, said U.S. Brigadier John Albert. The HRZ Commander, Josip Culetic, assessed that this and similar visits created pre-conditions for Croatia's speedy entry in the Partnership for Peace programme. Commenting on the current course of the joint exercise of the HRZ
